Emirates Energy Award 2025 Participates in WETEX 2024 and Supports 10th Edition of the World Green Economy Summit
The Emirates Energy Award 2025 will showcase its categories and prizes through its participation in the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy pavilion at the 26th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2024) and the 10th edition of the World Green Economy Summit (WGES).
Held from October 1 to 3 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, WETEX serves as a global platform to present the latest innovations in water, energy, and environmental sectors. The World Green Economy Summit, taking place on October 2 and 3, will discuss key strategic issues related to the transition towards a green economy. Through its participation in these landmark events, the Emirates Energy Award 2025 aims to drive innovation and inspire both companies and individuals to pioneer sustainable energy solutions, ultimately advancing efforts towards carbon neutrality and emission reduction.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and Chairman of the Emirates Energy Award, said: “The Emirates Energy Award contributes to supporting the UAE’s efforts to achieve Net Zero and expand the use of clean energy in line with the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative, Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, and Dubai Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050 aiming for 100% clean energy production capacity by 2050. The award's goals align with the sustainable solutions presented at WETEX and WGES, driving towards a more resilient and sustainable green economy.”
